Information we collect

We ask only for what a technician needs to find you and fix the car, plus the basic records any business keeps. Depending on how you contact us, that can include:

• Your name and phone number.
• Messages you send us on WhatsApp, including voice notes.
• The location you share or describe, such as a map pin, a tower name, a parking level or a street.
• Vehicle details: make, model and year, and where needed the plate or chassis number so the right battery is brought.
• Photos you send, for example of the old battery label, the dashboard or the parking spot.
• The type of payment you chose (cash, card, Tabby or Tamara) and the invoice for the job. We do not store card numbers.
• Website usage data collected through cookies and analytics: pages viewed, the device and browser used, approximate location at city level, and how you reached the site.

How we collect it

Almost all of it comes directly from you, through one of these routes:

• Phone calls: what you tell us during the call, and the number you call from.
• WhatsApp: the messages, locations, photos and voice notes you send to our number.
• This website: cookies and similar technologies while you browse, and a record that the call button or the WhatsApp button was tapped.
• During the job: the test readings, the battery fitted, its serial number and the date the warranty starts.

Why we use your information

We use this information because you asked for a service and we need it to deliver that service, because UAE law requires us to keep certain records, and otherwise on the basis of your consent. The specific purposes are:

• Sending a technician to the right place with the right battery.
• Giving you a quote before the technician sets off.
• Keeping warranty records, so that a claim can be checked against the invoice.
• Following up on a job: confirming arrival, sending the invoice, checking that the car is starting properly, or dealing with a complaint.
• Measuring which adverts and pages lead to calls and messages, so the advertising budget is spent where it works.
• Meeting legal, tax and accounting duties in the UAE.

Advertising and analytics

We advertise on Google and we measure how this website is used. For that purpose the site may use Google Ads conversion tracking and Google Analytics. These tools rely on cookies and similar identifiers, including the click identifier that Google adds to the web address when you arrive from an advert.

They can show us that someone who clicked an advert later tapped the call button or the WhatsApp button, and which pages were read. They do not hand us the content of your call or your messages. Google also processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Remarketing may be used as well. It means that people who have visited this website can later be shown our adverts on Google and on sites that carry Google adverts. It works from cookies set during a visit.

You can opt out at any time, and the service you get from us stays the same. Your options are:

• Switch off personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings (also called My Ad Center) for your Google account.
• Install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on in your browser.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or browse in a private window.
• Reset or limit the advertising ID in your phone's privacy settings.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. This website uses three kinds, listed below.

You can clear or block cookies whenever you like in your browser settings. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies does not break the site, and you can still call or message us.

• Necessary cookies that the site needs in order to work properly.
• Analytics cookies that count visits and show which pages people find useful.
• Advertising cookies that measure the results of our adverts and, where remarketing is switched on, allow our adverts to be shown to past visitors.

Who we share information with

Personal information is shared only where a job or the law calls for it. Some of the companies below process data on servers outside the UAE, under their own privacy terms.

• WhatsApp (Meta): messages you send us travel through WhatsApp and are handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
• Google: supplies the analytics and advertising tools described in this policy.
• Payment providers: Tabby, Tamara and the card terminal provider process payments on their own systems and handle your card or account details themselves. We see whether a payment went through. We do not see or store card numbers.
• Partner workshops and recovery drivers: when you ask for a service that we arrange through a partner, the partner receives only what is needed for that job, normally your name, phone number, location and vehicle details.
• Authorities: when UAE law, a court or a regulator requires it.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Your number is used to deal with your job and your warranty; it is not handed to other businesses for their own marketing.

If we ever send you a service reminder or an offer and you would prefer not to receive it, tell us once and we will stop.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

Job and warranty records (name, number, vehicle, battery fitted and invoice) are kept for the length of the warranty and for as long afterwards as UAE tax and commercial record rules require. WhatsApp chats and photos are kept while they are useful for the job or the warranty. Analytics data is held for the retention period set in Google's tools.

Access to customer records is limited to the people who take calls, dispatch technicians and handle warranty claims, and the phones and accounts used for work are protected with passcodes and passwords. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your information, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.

Your rights

UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data gives you rights over the information we hold about you.

To use any of them, contact us through the details shown on this website. We may ask a question or two to confirm that the request comes from the person the records belong to. You can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you (access).
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Delete your information where we no longer need it for a warranty or a legal record.
• Stop or restrict a particular use, including marketing messages.
• Stop relying on a consent you gave earlier, for example for advertising cookies. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was done before it.

Children

Our service is for drivers and vehicle owners, and this website is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the service, the website or the law changes. The current version is always the one published on this page. If a change makes a real difference to how your information is used, we will make that clear on the website.
